DIY-U has elements of the Medieval University within it

The DIY-U Body of Knowledge is fluid in essence. It is expanding and evolving, improving over the course of time. The DIY-U Body of Knowledge is not bound by dogma and it is not limiting in any shape or form.

Did you know that the medieval universities had its roots in monastic schools? You might ask what the connection is in this context. It is all connected. I will explain. My other creations, School of The Remote Influencer - SOTRI, and Way of The Remote Influencer - WOTRI, are part of the new monastic movement. SOTRI is the school and WOTRI is the monastery.

My Remote Influencing (RI) links of a chain affirmation.

Like links of a chain, through Remote Influencing RI), we are connected to positive people, events, situations and outcomes.

The affirmation above is from my book, 'The Remote Influencer 2'. I am not plugging my book by the way. I am just showing how my work and my creations are connected and interconnected. You will see this quite frequently in my blog. If you would like to join DIY-U, and you aspire to become even smarter, more creative, powerful and better leaders, then this is the place which can make this happen.

The Medieval University. By Helene Wieruszowski.

Fundamentally, the medieval universities were meeting places of students and masters drawn together by a common desire for learning. It was a spontaneous movement and not the result of planning.

The above is from a book I had bought recently. I will wrote more posts about the book in mention in future posts. If you read the above, please refer to the underlined section. In DIY-U, our meeting places would be internet based. We may have actual, physical meeting places in the future. However, for now, the internet is our campus per se.

WCK 7 Wearable chain keyring 7 updated demo

Here is an update for one of my creations, WCK 7 : Wearable chain keyring 7. http://www.schooloftheremoteinfluencer1.com/2023/02/wck-7-wearable-chain-keyring-7-updated.html This is an example of the DIY maker movement in action. WCK 7 is made up of industrial goods connected to each other. There are 10 pieces that make up this unique and useful product. In the video below, you can also see the neodymium magnet that's connected to a hexagonal nut. The keyring can be placed onto this end piece as you can see in the photo below.

My independent study in Math/s

When I was growing up, I had a phobia of sorts for maths. In the UK, we call it maths. My maths skills started to improve when I had started junior college. I have decided to start my own independent study of maths. I have ongoing health issues. However, I will do what I am capable of doing. As self directed learning plays a huge part in DIY-U, I will find the necessary resources and I will teach myself. I will evaluate my learning. I am not interested in gaining a certificate or certificates for my maths studies. There are many self taught mathematicians in history. I am not saying I want to become a mathematician. However, I do want to improve my skills in this subject. I will conduct my studies at my own pace and I will most likely continue with the practice until I decide to end the self initiated learning project of my own creation. Here is one of the solutions I have created as a result of my explorations in math/s. http://www.projecttheremoteinfluencer.org/2020/02/success-wi

My Facebook page for DIY-U

I have recently opened a Facebook page and a Facebook group for DIY-U. I believe in the power of social media as a learning platform. I will write more about this topic in future posts. I hope Google re-start their social media vehicle. Let's see what transpires. Here are the links to my Facebook page and my Facebook group for DIY-U. https://www.facebook.com/diyuniversity https://www.facebook.com/groups/336377653643535/ The Facebook group for DIY-U is a closed membership group. Just send me a request to join and I will then add you as a group member. I am impressed with some of the features these groups give to page admins. They allow page managers to place documents into the page and they have other useful features too.
